Here's the thing... I'm not in love with Birchbox this month. When it comes to subscription boxes ipsy is still my favorite. They always send full-size products (for the most part) and it is usually something I can actually afford if I want to buy it later.
But I digress. I wasn't totally put off. Here's what I got:
It's a 10®
Miracle Leave-In Product
$19.99
Tiossan
Body Cream
Flamboyant - $38
I really love this lotion. Even though its a tiny sample, it is small enough to fit in my backpack. The scent I received reminds of Clinique Happy and new pencils. Love.
Chella
Highlighter Pencil
$18
Just tried this pencil today. I like the control that the pencil gives me when I'm applying it under my brow. I use a white liner for highlight on stage, so I'm familiar with using a pencil for this purpose. I might buy this full size, or try to find a comparable product at the drugstore for under $10.
Color Club®
Cocktail Hour Collection
Top Shelf - $8
Chuao Chocolatier
Chocolate Bar
Orange-A-Go-Go - $6
Want to join in on the sampling? Birchbox is the best way to discover new beauty, grooming and lifestyle products. Join to receive monthly deliveries of top product samples from high-end brands. Click on the BB logo below!
Don't forget, I still have a Miche party going on. The two free shell promotion ends on November 27th, but the Cyber Weekend sale starts November 29th. Don't miss out! They always have amazing deals and shells sell out fast! If you want more information about Miche, check out this post. Thank you for your support!

ReplyDeleteThe Faculty anyone??? he is so HOT in that movie!
ReplyDeleteOMG tell me about it!
ReplyDeleteMy first car I shared with my sister, we had a Mercedes, 1980-something. It was blue, one window didn't work and one door didn't open. But it had a CD player and that thing was awesome.

Thanks so much for stopping by Victoria - glad to have you!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Either that or its the exchange rate... :)
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! Well, I completely understand what you're saying and where you are coming from. I too, have one degree in English (and Criminal Justice). HOWEVER, regardless of any degree, or any type of education, I think you just need to do what feels right to you!
ReplyDeleteLike you said in the beginning of the post, you were using this as a writing exercise, and then in the end you said you edited it. I mean, you have to start somewhere, why not with a blog post?
I have a difficult time with my blog posts sometimes, but that's mainly because I have so many pics to share and writing all the deets can get very tedious, and well, boring and long and drawn out
Though I do understand that finding what feels right when writing can be hard, especially if you are trying to present yourself with the backing that you are educated and well rounded (in life and in general). But in all honesty I think as long as you are happy with the end result of your post, you get everything posted that you intend to and you say everything that's on your mind, who cares what anyone else thinks! It is YOUR blog, after all. :) I hope that makes sense.
Keep up the good work and keep on smilin'! :)
