Tuesday Reveiwsday: Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal+

Hi Friends!

Has this weekend flown by for anyone else? Phew! Trev and I unplugged (from the internet anyway) for most of the day Saturday and immersed ourselves in Storage Wars and Barter Kings (per Trev's request). We shared cold Chinese food and snuggled the cats under warm blankets.

I also got to try the Real Medley's Oatmeal that came in my VoxBox.

I am a HUGE fan of oatmeal. I'm THAT girl. I order oatmeal at restaurants. Might as well bring my knitting and order some hot water with lemon. :) The Peach Almond Oatmeal would have been better sans peach. Reconstituted peach let quite a bit to be desired. But! The bright crunch of the almonds, however, really woke me up!  I would probably eat this again, but eat around said fruit, and recommend it to friends/family to enjoy dried peaches.

I give Quaker Real Medleys: Peach Almond Oatmeal a C+

Finally!!! The VoxBox Arrives

Hi Friends!

How did your week back from the holidays go? It seemed to go by so fast!

I have been extremely jealous of all the posts I've seen about other bloggers VoxBox from influenster. Lo and behold my very own came yesterday! Check out the goods:

Starting with the Goody QuickStyle styling brush:

Holla! I saw this at the store the other day and was tempted to buy it at the $11.99 price point. I'm sure glad I waited! Goody boasts "super absorbent microfiber bristles removes up to 30% of water as you style." I have a lot of hair. I'd love any help I can get!!

How GLAM are these Nail Dresses from Kiss? I have been disappointed with similar products in the past. So here's hoping! Apparently you can take it off without remover and they last for up to 7 days. At $6.99 I believe they're either the same or less expensive than other nail strips.

I always see Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks in supermarket check out lines, and beauty aisles but I have never picked one up for myself. I guess I never realized that they were only around $2 per mask. I love beautifying myself with masks, but never can commit to an entire bottle. This would be a fabulous alternative. PLUS they're passionate about sharing cruelty free, eco-friendly skin treats!

Oooh girl! I am an admitted "goo hoarder" and lippies are no exception. When I saw this NYC Liquid LipShine (Brighton Beach Peach) in my VoxBox I immediately thought of a MAC lippie I'd seen on Pinterest. At $2.49 this baby is WAAAAAY more affordable than the MAC version at $19.50.

I haven't heard much about EBOOST but checked out their website. "EBOOST uses real ingredients, stuff you’ve heard of like Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Green Tea, Vitamin B-12 and Folic Acid.  And the stuff you might not have heard of:  Quercetin, 5-HTP, Resveratrol, Huperzine-A — it’s all good too.  What could be sweeter than that?  Well, we even sweeten our product with Stevia, a plant, not a chemical." I like that!

OATMEAL!! I really love oatmeal. Its brain food. Trying this tomorrow morning, and I'll let you know!

Are you a part of influenster? If not, get on board! You can get great products like these to try. My VoxBox totaled $51.66 (including a $25 coupon for Soul Society - they're having a true BOGO sale for only two more days!).

Have you received a VoxBox? What did you think!?
