So I totally just saw this music video for the first time. I'm not much of a music video person. Mom refused to let me watch MTV until I was 13 (didn't matter that my brothers were watching it at 5 and 8) and by that time I really had no interest because the Beach Boys didn't make music videos, and that Madonna was just TOO racy - I was born a grandma. :)
But back to the video. At first I was totally like WTH this is really dumb. A guy dancing around with a bunch of monkey-masked men? It makes no sense. But what would you do with a lazy day? Apparently Bruno Mars would make a random music video about it.
Trev is sleeping in the other room, got home from his graveyard shift at 7 am. We actually went out last night for the first time since we moved back home. I loved seeing everyone again and drinking strong martinis. :) Luckily Trev's hotel was right across the street so I hung out in the lobby eating chips and soda from the vending machine. Stayed just long enough to be able to drive home safely and then totally crashed at home.
But today I don't feel like doing anything. And that includes today's craft. Yikes! Day 4 and I'm already pooping out? I totally did a craft yesterday but it turned out so bad I couldn't bring myself to post it for the world to see. And today's craft was a fabric apple garland. When I saved it I must have blocked out the fact that we no longer have a fireplace. Our apartment in The Big City had a fabulous fireplace and I must have imagined that we were just visiting here... Do you know of anywhere else a garland can be hung? Here's the link in case you want to take it on yourself. It is SUPER cute...
Tomorrow is a Fall Broach. For real. I will totally do it. I anticipate that it will be amazing, and I will need to start filling orders from others.
