Anyway, here goes...
Jackson uses the TOILET instead of the litterbox!!
Yep. That's my toilet.
My bathroom.
You've now entered the inner sanctum. :)
He started doing this while we were living in The Big City, and this is the first time we've caught him since we moved. Wait. Does that make us sound like weirdos? I promise we're not. Trev and I just LOVE our fur babies!
The Landlord showed up today. Unannounced.
Last Saturday I noticed that a section of the ceiling in the kitchen was bulging with water. Trev called The Landlord and left a message. So we waited. And waited. You'd think that a leaky ceiling would impress some sort of urgency, but no. Twenty-four hours later Trevor called again. THE FOLLOWING DAY (Monday) Trev listened to a message from The Landlord stating that he would have someone come out to take a look.
They came and went. Trev and I were at his brother's house so we didn't have to see them. The Landlord let us know that he would call to let us know when his "worker guy" would be able to come out. So we waited. And waited.
I come home from shopping today and guess who is waiting for me? The Landlord! And his entourage! Including his "worker guy" up on the roof. I was livid. We received NO notice that they would be entering the property. He and I exchanged some words. I told him that its the law requires he give us 24-hours notice when it isn't an emergency, and since we hadn't spoken with him whatsoever for almost a week it did not seem to be an emergency to him. He did not want to hear about anything I had to say and let me know that the conversation was over. Ten minutes later he peeled out of our driveway.
We have no idea what is going on with the roof, or if they will be back. Blarg!! Someday soon we'll be able to buy a house of our own.
Oh man, I feel like that was a real stressful post. Let me leave you on a lighter note!
xoxo.
