Here's the thing... I'm diving back into the dating world after three years on the sandy, and ultimately rocky shore of a relationship. I'm nearly 30 (oh God, 43 days), and while I hear that 30 is the new 20 I'm not sure how ready I am for the whole dating thang...

Do guys still like women to shave their legs?

My winter coat is coming in nicely and it would be a shame to lose the insulation. Especially since I'm used to temperate, northwest coastal weather and haven't acclimated to the polar winter climate of central Washington. What is this S-N-O-W that I've heard of? Kidding. I grew up here, but its been a long time since I experienced 3 feet of snow.

Is it inappropriate to bring que cards on a date?

Ok, so I can be an extrovert when need be (usually during team building exercises where no one wants to be the leader, in the check out line when all I have in my cart is caramel corn and chocolate covered almonds [and always with people over 60], or other superficial interactions), but for the most part I'm an introvert. I have a hard time thinking of what to say. Or if I know what to say, I'm stuck wondering whether or not anyone wants to hear it. Today I bought two books full of conversation starting questions. Contemplating if I should jot some down on note cards and carry them around in my purse.

Regardless, if there is a guy out there who is willing to go out with me, I found 8 Insane Thoughts I Have On A First Date from Ryan O'Donnell. And, of course, every one of them resonates with me. I'm sure this won't help my case, but at least I know I'm not alone. Besides, this gives any guy reading this fair warning.
