What comes to mind when you're thinking about a beach? Surf, sand, and sunshine? Biceps, and boogie boards? Me too! But yesterday I thought it would be a marvelous idea to go to the bay to see what we could see. It was 37 degrees. Eighteen with the windchill. Brr. :)
Good news! We own coats and could endure such turmoil. We gots to get out and get our exercise (Resolution #2: Make healthy choices). I love to take pictures (duh) while Trev runs around on the beach with his metal detector.

All of a sudden Trev's metal detector went crazy! He frantically moved aside rocks and vegetation and found...
He immediately posted some snapshots to instagram (you can follow me here) asking what his followers thought we found. He created quite a frenzy on Facebook too! We're still not sure if they are meteorites, or slags from the local refinery, or alien currancy. But hopefully we'll find out soon. Even if they aren't worth anything it was still super-cool to find. :)
I love the beach in winter (and in summer!). Normally it's a lot quieter, if you're lucky you get to see snow and sea together, and if you're really lucky you find something intriguing and great, even if you're not sure what it is!
