Hi Friends!
On Friday Trev and I ventured out to a second, northern beach - which, of course, was colder! My poor little self-diagnosed pre-arthritic hands wouldn't move by the time we got back in the car. Needless to say, we didn't stay long but I still captured some great pictures.
This is a bald eagle! I know it doesn't look like much, but this bird flew DIRECTLY over me. So low that I could practically count his feathers. I wanted Trevor to share this majestic moment with me, but all I could do was point sharply and shout, "Baldeagle! Baldeagle! Baldeagle!" like a 5 year-old. By the time I remembered the camera around my neck he soared out of recognizable sight distance. I promise though, its a bald eagle.
PS. Did anyone notice my follower count?! 150 BABY!! Thanks so much for following along on my journey!

Your pictures are gorgeous! What type of camera do you use? I'm thinking that next weekend I may have to drag my husband out on an adventure.
