We stayed at Trev's hotel Friday night after my birthday celebration and headed out at 7am the
next/same day. Eek! That was super early for me, but Trev had just gotten off his night shift. I'm pretty sure he was up for 24+ hours. My stud muffin!

Normally our family goes to an extended family Christmas (uncles, aunts, and cousins) at my grandma's house. But with differing work schedules, we ended up celebrating on the 22nd. We could have also done it on the 23rd or 24th, but my brothers and I are big babies and wanted to open presents early. :)

How beautiful is my home town? Below is mom's front yard.

And the start to the drive home:

It was a wonderful trip. The bummer was having to take the looooong way home because our usual route was closed due to downed trees on the roadway.

Hey! Where did the tree go?! Trev was all about taking the tree down on the 26th. Funny guy! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season!
Our tree is coming down soon. Glad you had a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love the image of the tree 'aftermath.' I couldn't let another pine needle fall, the tree was getting so dry and crispy!
ReplyDeleteWow your hometown is beautiful!! And RIP tree! Haha
