I just HAD to share about a lovely little thing that has come into my life. A ScentSationals wax warmer!
Inside Mr. Owl a light bulb warms the ceramic plate and the wax cube slowly melts. For $2 I purchased 6 heavenly scented wax cubes which last 40 hours. I left one cube on for about 8 hours per day and it lasted a full 5 days. While I would recommend turning the warmer off if you leave home, it certainly is not as dangerous as candles but they smell just as wonderful.
With scents like Vanilla Bean, Cupcake, and Oatmeal Cookie you can't go wrong. :) This little guy has definitely made the new house feel like a home.

I found you via the GFC hop! Nice to meet you!

DeleteHi Katie!! I'm a new follower from the GFC blog hop!
ReplyDeleteThe owl warmer is adorable! My daughter's favorite animal is an owl so she collects them! I ought to pick this up for her for Christmas. Is Scentsationals like Scentsy?
Welcome Sarah Kate! I don't believe so, I found this little guy at Wal-Mart. So that's even easier to get, right? :)
DeleteHi Punkin! Following your great taste in decor....I now own a wax warming wonder as well!! It's not as cute as an owl, but hey -- I'm no Katie Parkins. Anyhoo....there was an "incident" last night involving said WWW.
ReplyDeleteBe sure to warn other people living with you that this is NOT, repeat NOT a candle. The safety instructions it came with only said it was NOT, repeat NOT a toy. Last night Joel was going to "blow out the damn candle" and then berate us with a safety lecture. So he removes the "lid" and was temporarily blinded by the high wattage bulb in the dark room. Said blindness caused him to spill the hot wax down his arm and the wall!! His lil hand is still red from the burn. Poor fella.
P.S. How do you get wax off of a wall?
How to get wax off the wall? Carefully? Try ice... no thats peanut butter. Try pinterest! What does you WWW look like?
DeleteI saw this in a magazine! So cute, and they smell wonderful. We have a pumpkin for Halloween, which we got at Menards. They have lots of nice scents right now too!
